Good ol' country music and down home fun! 

    The Maytag Opry is a music show performed for the older generation every Friday night in beautiful Texarkana, Texas.  The Maytag Opry features some of the most talented performers you will find anywhere, backed by the awesome Maytag Opry Band.  One of the special aspects of the Maytag Opry, setting it apart from other music shows, is that ALL of the talent you will enjoy...of the guest performers AND the Maytag Opry Band is provided by them on a volunteer basis, all for the love of great country music, FUN, and of course for YOUR entertainment!! How great is THAT!  The Maytag Opry offers a family friendly, smoke and alcohol-free atmosphere. 

      If you are anywhere near Texarkana, Texas, come on out to the MAYTAG OPRY on Friday nights for an evening of greal ol' country music and great fellowship with some of the friendliest folks anywhere!  You will find yourself tappin' your foot, singin' along or out on the dance floor two-steppin' the night away!

      This really is not "new", but new to our page.  Texarkana is a very unique lil' town....for a variety of reasons, one being that part of the town is in Texas..the other part is in Arkansas.  Not only are two states involved, but Texarkana is the home of TWO COUNTRY MUSIC OPRIES....our own MAYTAG OPRY and the OAK LAWN OPRY, owned and operated by Mr. Henry Matthews.  Our show is on Friday nights and the music show at the Oak Lawn is every Saturday night, so the folks in this area can enjoy great country music two nights a week!  If you are not familiar with the Oak Lawn Opry we hope you will take a moment to visit their website...then go check them out in person on Saturday night!!
